This semester I have Achieved the course learning outcomes so I am going to Reflect on this and the things I improved and developed on in this semester. The most important learning moments from that semester for me were how I was able to write a lot, including drafts and essays.  This course made me a better analyzer and writer and overall developed andi improved my skills by taking this course.

I ended up learning a lot this semester, but one learning outcome that Ii achieved this semester and that I definitely did well on is in developing strategy for reading, drafting, collaborating, revising and editing, Exploring and analyzing in writing and reading, a variety of genres and rhetorical situations, compose text that integrate a stance with appropriate sources, using strategies such as summary, Analysis, synthesis, and Argumentation, and recognize and practice key rhetorical terms ad strategies when engaged in writing situations. Some areas that I actually believed that I really progressed in since I believe that I got the right amount of practice needed and that I feel like we spent a lot of time on was Compose texts that integrate a stance with appropriate sources, using strategies such as summary, analysis, synthesis, and argumentation.

When it came to “Developing strategies for reading, drafting, collaborating, revising and editing”. I really feel like i strangely achieved this since i used to struggle with this and have bad structure with my writing but then taking this course and writing lots of drafts and discussion boards really helped me with this and it got me so much better. So I really do believe that I achieved this. I could recall and say how I really did better than I thought on my WA1. So this shows my fulfillness in this learning course.

The other learning course I believed that I achieved was “ Explore and analyze, in writing and reading, a variety of genres, and rhetorical situations”. I did a lot of different types of assignments and I definitely feel like I explored and analyzed lots of different readings and writing and a variety of things while taking this course. Things that I would say that I explored and analyzed a lot were all of the discussion boards that we did. They were different genres and also it made me have a different approach on what to write and also the different essays we wrote like the fairy tale narratives and research critical analysis and things like that. So I would really say that I achieved this course learning outcome. Also the articles and the Fairy tale stories and the news articles and stuff like that.

So this other learning course that I also believed that I achieved was “Recognize and Practice Key Rhetorical terms and strategies when engaged in writing situations”. This was a little bit challenging for me since it was hard to recognize those terms in writing situations but overtime I improved and understood it more and recognized it more. Like assignments that helped me were

my rhetorical analysis assignment and my rhetorical precis. These assignments made me have my own ways in actually practicing Rhetorical terms and made me have good strategies for when I was in a writing situation. So I’ll say that I was able to successfully achieve this learning course with lots of improvements.

Another course learning outcome that I strongly achieved was “understand and use print and digital technologies to address a range of audiences”. I got to understand how to apply all my work and writing and introduction to myself on the digital portfolio on the word press site. I created my own website and made sections that are named after my assignments, sSo Ii can add them on there. So I can target the audience of people in my college so that they can know things about me and my work quality and how my work is. Learning how to do this really positively helped me understand and achieve this learning course.

The final course learning outcome that I strongly achieved was “Compose texts that integrate a stance with appropriate sources, using strategies such as summary, analysis, synthesis, and argumentation.” I really learned how to find the right sources using the library sources and other sources that I got taught on on library day and I was successfully taught correctly on how to apply those sources in my writings and on my work like the research essay paper that I did. Like for example, on my Research Critical Analysis, i cited the author and connects its evidence to my work “

In the article “Echoes of Our Favourite Childhood Figures: Examining the Role of Disney in Lifelong Character Development Through Its Generational Fairy Tales Development Through Its Generational Fairy Tales”.  The authors for this article are Griszbacher Norbert, Kemeny fciko, and Varga, Akos. These authors are all researchers that have been to university and they study and research on societal perspectives in society and behaviors so they decided to use their knowledge all together to create this article.” This is evidence from my work from how i was able to use this learning course. 

These are all the course learning outcomes that I achieved and the reason why I achieved it and I am glad that during this semester I was able to develop and improve in my ELA skills and all aspects that related to the source learning outcomes thanks to this class and the Professor.
